Memorial Service Update!!!!

23Mar2010-We had the memorial for Judy on March 21. It was really beautiful. I want to thank everybody who attended and performed at the memorial. It was amazing how many people Judy touched in her life! As well, I wanted to thank the Dover Arms for letting us have Judy's memorial there. I want to especially thank Mary and Jimmy for making this happen. I have scanned all the pages of the condolence book. Click on the picture of the book below to go through the book and read the comments. Click on the following picture to see photos from the memorial service.

There was a line I remember from a song many years ago, that was a tribute to the many impact artists that we had lost so early in their careers at the time it was first recorded it was referring to Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, Jim Morrison, Jim Croce and Bobby Darin. The song was called Rockn Roll Heaven and it was first recorded by the Righteous Brothers in 1974.
The chorus finished with:
If you believe in forever, then life is just a one night stand,
If theres a Rockn Roll heaven, then you know theyve got a helluva band.
And you know, I can see Judy hangin out with the band, glass of wine in one hand, her other arm around one of their necks, introducing them to all her close friends as they walk by her near the stage. She always put a smile on my face, and I always tried to put one on hers too and so it was for the thousands who knew her, and whose lives she touched with her kindness, joie de vivre and generosity of spirit.
Every time I think of Judy, Ill try real hard to put a smile on the faces of those around me, in her honour.
Say Hi to the band for me, Jude, and make sure you save me a good seat.

She was such a good friend..always there for me. All of us spent so many evenings together...like a family. I will miss her terribly. She was one of the finest women I had the honor of meeting in Vancouver. -Liz, Los Angeles, California
